Lebes Hueso Vase

The founders of Canoa, Raquel Vidal and Pedro Paz envision their work as a laboratory for ceramics, jewelry, photography and words. They believe in slow industry, taking care and time to create each piece with local materials and techniques. The ceramics by Canoa focus on texture, colour and form, calling to the ancient design of Iberian, Roman and Greek societies of the Mediterranean.

The Lebes Vase is a hand-built piece of stoneware with grog, brushed with experimental glazes mix and textured surface, resulting in slight variations with each piece. Not watertight. Made in Valencia, Spain
